Why do you even care if you are "popular"? Isn't having some friends or even one good friend enough? Do you think that you are a "nobody" because you are not "popular"? Tight clothing isn't appropriate; just wear clothing that fits. As for how you can change, change the way you think. Find different clothes to wear besides jeans & teeshirts. That is easy. Set your mind to having more confidence, which has nil to do with being "popular". It would be great for you to really like yourself & not feel the need to be in this particular crowd. I wish you the best.

trust me, in a few years, no one will care who was popular in high school, so dont go trying to be the popular kid if you have great friends.
if you think changing your look will help you gain confidence start small. try to wear foundation, mascara, blush and some sheer lip glass daily. youd be surprised how much a little makeup can do. take pictures of hairstyles you like to your stylist and have her help you choose, but make sure you pick a style you are willing to style daily. as far as clothing, this seasons sweaters and wraps look awesome on all body types. get jeans that are fitted, but not too tight so you wont be uncomfortble. a great pair of cute flats is essential. lastly, use accesories to make your outfit your own. a fun handbag or headband and jewelry will set your look apart
the biggest thing is to remain true to yourself and dont try to be someone (namely your sister) youre not

First of all, LOVE YOURSELF for who you are. Men love a woman with curves so learn to cherish them. Next, being popular and pretty isn't important. Once high school ends, the playing field is pretty level. Finally, in order to dress nicely, get clothes that fit without being tight or revealing. Find someone that you admire their style of dress and try to create your own version of it. Look in magazines like Seventeen and create versions that will fit your body. Also, take a little extra time in the mornings but don't over do it. After all, it's just high school ;)

I am in the exact same position. My sister is considered perfect. She has long blonde hair, green eyes, and the perfect "dancer's body". Problem is, she's EIGHT. and i am almost fifteen. I am the brunette blue eyed one with the average body and big boobs.
Bleh. I recomend going shopping and picking out six shirts that are fun colors and patterns. No matter what the cut, try them on. Choose a few that you like on you. and once you do, you will be a little more confident. Or ask your sister to help you out. : ]

Talk to people at skool. Me I am a very loud person and I am happy for that. People love me because of who I am and my ability to help people. Go to the popular people and start talking to them. They will find something great about you but you have to accept and like what they see in you too.

First of all, you sound fine the way you are.
There is no need to compare your self to your sister, she is your sister, and you are you.
Simply be yourself, there is no need to dress up.
Wear what is comfortable.
And if that doesn't get you the friends/boyfriends you want, then the people you wanted are just bad people.
People need to learn to accept people for who they are.
