I have a 1999 GMC Savana van. The fan works but not heat comes out. When the heater runs the temp gauge drops 10 to 20 degrees. The thermastat has been replaced. What do I look for next?

You may have a defective heater control valve or a plugged heater hose or heater core. The mix of the antifreeze as mentioned in post 2 will not help.

The heater core could possibly be plugged, or something could be keeping the temp. mix door in the heater case from switching all the way to hot air.

check your antifreeze mix, it should be about a 50/50 mix with water. If you have almost all antifreeze it won't heat up sufficiently.
