You are absolutely right about a playoff system. But why you gotta try and bring the traditional powers down with words. Sounds like you are the ones yapping. I haven't heard anyone in the SEC or Big Ten that doesn't want a playoff. And does the conference that you support have a conference championship game? The SEC and Big Ten do. They have done this to set an example. The SEC was the first to have a championship game.

Amen, in basketball the Big East all year while the SEC was terrible, Florida wins national title, Big East doesnt have a team in the final four, (even though they had like 4 in the Sweet 16), my point is just because you have the best conference doesnt mean you have the best team.
In the Big East they dont need a conference championship, they play a round robin schedule.

Money is the only reason there is no playoffs in College Football. The schools get huge paydays for appearing in bowls where they will not get money in a playoff system.
