What does iintegrity mean in your own words? Also what does it mean to question someones integrity? what does that mean? Thanks a bunch.

(My own words) Integrity is what we hold true in our beliefs and values from our upbringing.

(Wikipedia) Integrity comprises the personal inner sense of "wholeness" deriving from honesty and consistent uprightness of character. Integrity is holding true to one's values. Said another way: being one's word; doing what you said you would do (by when)/(how) you said you would do it. Integrity is knowing what is important to you and living your actions accordingly.

When you question someone's integrity, you might are doubting their steadfastness. It is similar to one's dignity; their proudness, as it is what they hold dear. It is like in the "olden" days when a cowboy's word was law and not questioned. He stood up to what he stated. It was a manner of honor. This is/was not to be doubted - in fact if you did, it would be an act of contrition.

to be honest, when questioned..it means that that person's word/honesty is being challenged. Its not that good of a thing when your integrity is being challanged, this happens due to cheating/lying...
