I am 6 and a half months pregnant now and have a low lying plancenta but not showing at all .... I mean I don't get it , I'm eating right, taking my prenatal vitamans and going to the doctor but my stomach is flat as a broad but baby's okay so far... I do have a small frame 4'10 , 98 lbs . I eat but I never gain wieght does anyone expreinced not showing at all or later in pregnancy and when was it ?

Sure you can show with a low lying placenta. Often with a first baby you will show less. If the baby is ok and you are healthy then count your self blessed. A low lying placenta does put you at risk for a condition called placenta previa, which is basically when the placenta detaches first during labor, before the baby comes out. This means lack of bloodflow and oxygen to the baby so in that case they will want to do a C-section.

As long as your baby is growing I wouldn't be worried. A low lying placenta can cause problems at delivery or if the baby isn't getting enough nourishment to continue growing. The last 3 months are when the baby starts putting on the pounds so you will be showing soon, but probably not as much as some other pregnant women. How much you show depends on your body make up, and how the baby is positioned.
