Jupiter is The biggest planet in our solar system and has alot of gravitational pull which causes more moons to rotate around it as oposed to other planets.

June is mostly right...Jupiter, besides being the largest planet in our solar system, also takes advantage of its location to "capture" new moons from time to time. When other smaller solar system bodies get perturbed in their orbits (because of interactions with other small bodies like asteroids, or with other planets, or even a gravitational nudge from reasonably close stars), they sometimes get pushed into orbits that cross Jupiter's orbit. When that happens, there are three possible outcomes from the interaction with Jupiter: ejection from the solar system completely, "capture" by Jupiter to become a new moon, or sent on a trajectory in towards the sun that will eventually cause the object's destruction. Jupiter is the grand sweeper-upper of our solar system, taking care of much of the junk that could be moving around :)

When our solar system was forming some 4.5 billion years ago. Jupiter, because of its sheer size and gravity attracted a lot of mass that was in our solar system.

because it's a bigger planet..
it has more mass which means it has more gravity..
which pulls in objects that we call "moons" or "satellites"

now how the moons got there...
that's another question...
