Can you help me think of any songs that are in the style of Tray Chapman's 'Fast Car' that are really relaxing to listen too and not too powerful. Something I can listen to the evening when I come home from work.....any suggestions??

suzanne vega, carly simon, jack johnson, paul simon, badly drawn boy. check on amazon and see what other people have bought like tracy chapman. Have you heard les fleurs by 4 hero? It's an amazing song! Everyone should hear it - so uplifting! Or Polyphonic Spree = maybe not exacly the same as Tracy Chapman, but mellow uplifting destress types of songs at least.
You'd like Tanita Timarim too.

You can't go wrong with Tracy Chapman's albums if you like that kind of thing. Sandi Thoms album is quite mellow in parts but my favourite chill out music is Neil Young
