How do I apologize?

I lied to my friend about a guy.
My friend met a guy on answers, and they started to write to each other. They had some issues and stopped writting a few days ago. As soon as they stopped writting I wrote to him, trying to get him interested in me. The really bad thing is that my friend was really hurt when they stopped writing, so the fact that I moved in was the worst thing I could of done. My friend found out and now she wants nothing to do with me.
My question is, how do I apologize and tell her that I never meant to hurt her, and that I would do anything to be her friend again.

We've been friends since we were 14, we are 24 now.

you acted like a 14 year old to do that. you could of waited till you were sure they were not communicating any more .and not jumped in so quick..your friend will get over it . be patient..and remember. a good friend is more worth the friendship then a guy ....you don't come across a good friend that has lasted 10 years just to ruin it over some one you don't know....

You squabble and your jealous of each other. Thats what you have in common with your friend... and thats why you are still friends.

Here is a good one. Set your friend up with a new guy... (RIGHT! NOT!!!!) Guys don't like to be used.

Call her and tell just what you said here. In addition apologize for your stupidity. Out of respect for her you should have talked to her before you wrote to him.
