how do you play a note?

Ok i whant to play the hafe note on a guitar. I have a guitar but i cant play note.

if u mean half note, i imagine it just depends on how long u let it ring, in other words let it ring longer than when u play a quarter note

place your finger down on a string with your left index finger and then pluck the string with your right hand.
