No different from non parent teens. you just have more responsibility. Some people can deal with and others cant. the majority can.
My parents had three sons by the time they were 20. My parents are still happily married and came through years of having virtually no cash and insecure employment.
So dont worry just love your child more than life itself and you will pull through anything that is thrown at you.

im a teen mom...had my baby at 15 and i dnt think there are much more changes. ok i hav to put my needs second but other than that its the same!i still meet my friend, go out and enjoy myself but thats all after my babys happy!its just like havin a baby at any age!

what kind of effects? Kids wanting to drop out of school, not having anykind of social life, it's harder to find good paying jobs. i had my son at 17, it was hard, i graduated high school, without my husband i couldn't have done it on my own, he got a good job, we bought our first house with our income taxes. it's hard.
