The first one that came to my mind was "Isn't She Lovely" by Stevie Wonder. It's about the joy of a newborn daughter. Now that's pretty dad gum happy, and such a great song too.

There's a song by (I think) Cream called "I'm So Glad", but I get annoyed by it sometimes because the lyrics are too repetitive. Over and over, its "I'm so glad, I'm so glad, I'm glad, I'm glad, I'm glad". Not my favorite, but it talks about bein' glad, so that's one.

Going back a bit into 1961, if you like female jazz singers, one of the best on the planet, Ms. Nancy Wilson (no, not the blonde chick from Heart), did a song called "Never Will I Marry" that is a song about wanderlust and not being tied down, and it's a really happy song. Recorded with Cannonball Adderly, and one of THE must have albums for fans of this genre.

Fast forward to the more recent past, and you've got "Happy Happy Joy Joy", performed by Ren and Stimpy. Actually, I think it was mainly Ren doing the singing, but Stimpy may have had a background part in it.

Well, I suppose I could think of some Spongebob songs if I really put my poor, shriveled up mind to it, but I am just too darn lazy.

...don't worry, be happy now, doooo doo doo doo doooo doo doo doo doo doo dee doo....don't worry... doo doo doo doo doo dee doo... be happy... doo doo doo doo dooo... don't wory, be happy!

Ashanti - Happy is the first song I thought of because it has happy in the title (and there's plenty of those) but there are other happiness songs like:

Kelly Clarkson - A Moment Like This
(DJ Sammy, Bryan Adams, Kate Dearaugo etc) - Heaven
Mary J Blige - You Bring Me Joy
Babyface - The Day
(All 4 One, Timothy Schmit etc) - So much In love

and more

Destiny's Child - Happy Face Lyrics

Ah-ah, ah ah-ah, ah ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah....

I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining

I put on my happy face

I'm living, I'm able, I'm breathing, I'm grateful

To put on my happy face

Woke up and realized this world's not so bad after all

Looked at it through a child's eyes, and I saw these
beautiful

Things that you never think about

Like the ocean, moonlight, stars and clouds

It's amazing how we don't appreciate our blessings

There's plenty of people who don't like me

But since my mama loves me and I love myself

Sometimes, it gets tough, it gets tough

But I can't give up, can't give up

Just take a deep breath, close my eyes

Feel the love and give a smile

I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining

I put on my happy face

I'm living, I'm able, I'm breathing, I'm grateful

To put on my happy face

I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining

I put on my happy face

I'm living, I'm able, I'm breathing, I'm grateful

To put on my happy face

It's me, I just wanna be happy

Uh, just be happy, uh, just be happy

Today is the day I am willing to say

I will put all the past behind me, no more enemies

Ready cause (ready cause)

I'm living in this world (living in this world)

I wanna make a change (wanna make a change)

I'm Gonna make a change (gonna make a change)

Put on my happy face

I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining

I put on my happy face

I'm living, I'm able, I'm breathing, I'm grateful

To put on my happy face

I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining

I put on my happy face

I'm living, I'm able, I'm breathing, I'm grateful

To put on my happy face
