After graduating from Pharmacy school, I being a single mom had alot of over due bills. My family got together and paid all my bill off for the entire month and past dues. The financial gift came too $4027.44. I was totally surprised and very grateful. I had alot of financial diffculty in the past and they never helped, if they did help I had to give up taliking to certain members of the family or showed loalty in supporting them in some very questionable dealings.but that is family and you are there for them..so I thought, pay them back money so I signed a contract to use my tax return to pay them back. This was written up in a contract that everyone got a copy. This included copies of cashier checks, and personal checks written by my mother. We'll my mother cancelled her check 12 hours later. Her reason,I changed my mind. I did not find all this out untill my landlord called to tell me about a cancelled check with extra charges applied, 9 days later, I am in shock. Can I sue her

First off NEVER take money from anyone with strings attached, like standing up for them in their wrong ways. The way you signed a contract to pay them back was very honorable of you,it means you feel responsible for yourself and willing to stand up and be a woman that respects yourself....You don,t owe anything to them as far as standing up and compromizing youself in their wrong doing, thats a lot like black mail..............Your Mom done you wrong and I cannot understand a mother like that....sooooooooooo,you have NOTHING to pay her back for,she reniged,so when or if she has the gall to ask you to stand by that contract I would tell her like she told me(Ichanged my mind, just like you did..........As far as sueing her,no I don,t think you would want to do that to your MOM,don,t bring yourself down to her level.....unless she,s rich you won,t get much and you will have a bunch of lawyers fees...If at all possible dig yourself out of this hole and don,t accept any money from them ever again
