Not all gothic persons wear black, outdoors, consistantly. Matter of fact, there are some gothics that wear all white. Either way, I know some gothics (including myself), and not one of us has not at least thrice worn something other than just black. Even though it usually includes crimson, white, gray, navy, or violet.

I'd bet that if you asked some "gothic" people, they'd tell you it's not only about the clothes, but generally, yes, they wear a lot of black.

well I wear black alot, but I am by no means some goth critter. I just like black. makes me look bigger and much more formidable than I am if I was wearing bright colors.

i guess but u shouldnt label them unless the label themselves they could just like the color balck and not be gothic but some "gothics" where other colors like red and stuff

A lot of black, yes. But they also mix other dark colours in sometimes--red or purple or green, as long as they're dark versions of those colours.
I knew one Goth chick that insisted (as her trademark) in wearing those striped stockings (the one's that remind you of Bettlejuice).
