Can the same effect be felt? We all jumped into the pool with our clothes on and the temperature has been 48 in Georgia and I'm here to tell ya,,,it was cold Doggy. I jumped right back out and dried off, but the emotions was felt about how it must feel like in 35o Water Temp....FREEZE

I'm still shivering as I type this

A buddy and I once jumped in an Adirondack (northern NY) lake in October - no matter how much I moved around, I could not get warm. When I came out, I felt like one of those cartoon characters that get pulled out of a lake in a block of ice! And YES, we had a good reason - a bet with the wives!
