The luxor is a pit. Treasure Island is not exactly top notch.

On the strip, the nicest hotels are Bellagio, Venetian, and Wynn. Suites at Caesar's are also quite nice. The Four Seasons and The Hotel at Mandalay Bay (different than just Mandalay bay) are also very very nice, but their strip views are limited and they aren't in the greatest location.

And of course, the best rooms will have a strip view. Splurge on it if you can.

But, the nicest hotel in vegas is the Ritz Carlton out on Las Vegas lake.

If money is no object, The Venetian is the best place to stay with your girlfriend. The Bellagio is beautiful but it's for an older crowd. I'm a big fan of Mandelay Bay as well.

If money is a factor, I think The Monte Carlo is the nicest place to stay on a budget.

The Luxor is old and other than the novelty of a pyramid it's not worth it. I find The MGM Grand and Excalibur are too big and have too much of a family atmosphere.

I've never stayed at Treasure Island but it's a good one too.

Nicest?? The Four Season. or the Sky Lofts at MGM (Both are AAA 5 Diamond) Next up would be the Mansions at MGM.

But I assume since you are asking on a Yahoo site, $$ may have something to do with it.

Monte carlo is nice, quiet, affordable and has great brew pub.
Bally's suites are nice. the older rooms are the original MGM and are larger than the average hotel room.

Currently the Alladin is going thru renovations and they are not fixing the rooms, so stay clear of them.

Bellagio or the Wynn. Deals may be hard to find this year for the upper class rooms. NFR and new years are impossible.

There are three that come immediately to mind - Bellagio, Wynn and Venetian. I have stayed at the Venetian and am heading back in a few weeks. The Venetian is an all-suite hotel with gorgeous luxurious rooms and the customer service is world class. My other favorites are MGM and Luxor (tower rooms not pyramid rooms). Mandalay Bay is a beautiful casino and the rooms are supposed to be fantastic. Caesars is also supposed to be pretty wonderful.

I do not recommend the Mirage unless you like crowds and room doors that slam so loudly that you can hear them down the hall.

The Wynn is a great hotel! They have some great deals coming up for the winter too! Its a really beautiful property and plenty of ameneties to make you feel truly spoiled. Its on the same level as the Bellagio but in My opinion, the decor is better, and because its farther north than mtany other popular properties, its not as crowed as the Bellagio. They just sent me an invite to get a room this Winter for $160 and thats totally a great value!!!

It alll depends on how much you want to spend all the bigger hotels are pretty nice( Treasure Island , Mirage , Venetian , Paris,) if you have the money .and if you want to stay on the strip the Bellagio is very nice plus you want a room where you can watch the water show if you want to be off the strip i think that the Rio or The Palms has nice rooms and they are cheaper than the strip. Red Rock is also cool but its way off the strip and you might want to come during the middle of the week because the weekends are more expensive

I would take her to the Paris. It is in the middle of the strip. It is very cool to see, they have a French breakfast buffet. It is also right across from the street from the Bellagio and you can ask for a room that overlooks those fountains and watch the show from in your room! I just think if it were me, you telling me you made the reservations at Paris would really impress me.
