NO-not from moral or ethical viewpoint for they would be committing a crime and taking something that does not belong to them to take and by using a gun they are also endangering your life or any other bystander in the area and although the money is then used to help unfortunates-doing good with iot does not justify how they got the money. One can argue that the politicians could still have helped the unfortunates by simply using their own money; if they lacked the money needed could have workd and earned the needed amount and also initiated drives, fundraisers and so on to raise the money needed. If after taking your money they then gave to the unfortunates with the claim that it is their own money or they earned or raised the money and they are praised for their good works then are guilty of deception and accpting praise and honors not theirs to take.

Republicans stay out of my house. I am not gay but try to stay happy... although wonder what government has to do with it. I still miss the old America which pretended not to use torture...
Democrats stay out of my wallet(and 'new' republicans). I want my country to be number ONE in defense(NOT in arms sales). Number one in health care that provides healthy care! NOT number one in sales/profits. Transportation!
So to answer your question I know the need to provide funds to provide needed services. BUT just as BIG brother has no business in my business some areas of government spending... is AGAIN morally attractive BUT is it any business of government?
Everything is politics. Politics is money. The antidote is religion.
Local religion... which spread through their appeal to those NOT in government... hmmmm is there a pattern there?

You just make sure that when you vote, it's for the candidate that will help "you" the most.. Not what's best for the country but for "you".. For some reason I think that's what you were gonna do anyways.. haha

So what else are you going to spend your "riches" on, other
than buying elected officials in Congress.

It's called taxes and yes it is legal. Everyone has to pay into the system, that's called a society. If you don't like that then be like the unabomber and get a cabin all by yourself deep in the woods where no one will bother you.

Of course not. It is not constitutional either. Then again, if we decided to follow the constitution, most of the Federal government would have to be dismantled.
