Zwan "Of A broken coronary heart" A attractive little music that has deep which potential. Smashing Pumpkins "Crestfallen" the main suitable brake up music, so unhappy and poetic. Poets Of the fall "Carnival Of Rust" A love music / smash up music with deep social which potential and metaphor for a worldwide going insane and yearning what isn't needed and not needing what's significant. Radiohead "go out track" that's Radiohead, the main depressing band ever, what else desires to be reported? Alice In Chains "Am I interior" Darn, this music makes me cry, so mournful of existence and love lost and coronary heart breaking unhappiness. Pearl Jam "Black" ok, granted this music is from a guy's potential, that doesn't replace the certainty that this music is so unhappy and emotional.

Seize the Day by Avenged Sevenfold that one will get you going.
For me, Hold On by Good Charlotte is a good one for sad days because even though its sad, it give a spark of hope...it does for me anyways.
Positive songs are also a good choice if you really want to get over a break up. It will at least make you feel a bit better when the song is playing.

If your not the one - Daniel Bedingfield
Hurt - Johnny Cash
With or Without You - U2
Not all about breakups but these 3 will make you cry and maybe even bring up some other feelings. Try them out.

i know this is corny, but the dixie chicks album Fly has some good sad songs. Country mmusic has some of the most saddest songs. also if you're into punk music... no use for a name is pretty good. the albums you want is hard rock bottom.

Really Got a Hold on Me by Smokey Robinson makes me sad no matter when I hear it! I love it even if he sounds miserable.
