I think she got it from a book which I dont mind, she just asked after it if it made sense and I just wanted another opinion.
"I picture your face in the back of my eyes, a fire in the attic a proof prize."
I took it as she can see me when she closes her eyes my image burnt into her mind, showing Im a proven prize.

I get an image of how the eye sees things...in the back of the eyes things are turned upside down and in reverse...like she has a captured this mental photograph of you in her memory. The image caused her mind to ignite with all sorts of thoughts and feelings...a proof in photography is a test shot but this is different because it is a proof prize...a picture that she prizes in her mind...
In essence I would say that the girl is real sweet on ya! LOL

I think the way she interprets it is most important as that is what whose words mean to her.
To me those words invoke the image of a dusty attic that you went up to retrieve something, but stumble upon something that brings back comforting memories. The reason I say that is many people store their old things that are rarely if ever used or needed in the attic, and sometimes when you go up there you stumble across an old toy or photo that reminds childhood (as many things are from either your child hood or your children's childhood)

THE next line could be that a nice thing u did burns in her mind, heart and soul/ a nice thing u did for her burns at the top of her mind, conciousness, heart, soul and that is a prooven prize of how good a mother/father u are and were ( if that is your daughter)
