I guess I'll have a serious moment as well.
Going to my daughter's funeral.

Ok- ususally I get all goofy here in the Polls&Surveys area...but now I will be serious.
I gave my first born child up for adoption at birth because her father was in jail and a loser and I worked at Wal-Mart and was still in high school. I gave her a better life, (I know because I have contact with her family) but it was by far the hardest thing I have ever, and possibly will ever do in my life.
Ok that was my seriousness for the year.

Putting my Golden Retriever, Shanna, to sleep because her kidneys failed. My family got her in 1989 when I was 8 months old and she died in 2002, so it was very hard to let her go after all those years we spent together. But I know I did the right thing because she's in a better place now, free of pain and misery. Someday we will be reunited.

Break up with someone I was genuinely in love with.... so hard. I knew he was the one i wanted to be with I just knew that if we stayed together we would BE together & get married etc. I wasn't ready to settle down yet. A few years down the track we are now getting married in 6 weeks. Still doesn't change the fact of how hard it was at the time.

Letting go of two darling cats I loved almost more than life. I cried more for them than I did for my parents! It's so hard...they are so trusting, and sometimes it's the only way to keep them from suffering. My babies Toby and Bubba...both loved and loving still.

I had to take my very young wife (36) off of life support in 2004. Believe me, you never want to be put in that position, and then hear the death rattle.
