my employer, ex BF and evil mother all call me that name and I hate them for it. I want to quit my job , but I think that will just give my ***** superv what she wants. Why do people call people names are they imherently evil? and they say it for no warranted reason. Just for simply existing. My bf is a woman beater, my mother a foreigner from korea, after 25 yrs hasnt learned english & is a bagger at a grocery store, and my ex a forklift driver. Who do they think they are? And why r people like this? are all people evil and abusive? who isn't? I cant stand people like this...yet they all seem to be around me...

It is a form of abuse, and you shouldn't take it. Or Have to take it

Absolutely, it abuse. As for quitting, don't not until you get another job. Take it up with your union, or make a complaint. People call others name because of lack of words. This is shows a lack of intelligence. They can not come up with a intelligent way to communicate with others so they curse to keep it simple. If your Boyfriend is a women beater, they got to go. As for your mother, she knows English, she just plays like she doesn't so she won't get responsibilities or be noisy. She has an easy live and doesn't want to compliant it with progressing so no one can expect much from her. And no all people aren't abusive. You just need to find a new circle.

i believe it is a form of abuse because it does hurt a person it makes them feel bad about them self along woth upsetting them. I have had this experience the best thing to is just stop talking to this person it only gets worst that is if you have told them and they are not willing to change that behavior. they might think less of them self or they are jealous about something of you or your past and are to immature to move on to the future wit hyou as a friend or lover. I know it hurts and it is hard. Trust me people do it all the time to others and the shameful thing is the nice girls like us get treated the worse and the nthe girls who are bossy and really control them they love to dealth cause they are so fine or rich. it really makes no sense I hope you get through this only time will tell. Hopefully whatever happens works for the best good luck sweetie.

Yes this is verbal and emotional abuse. I believe that people who can never say anything nice about someone else suffer from low self esteem and they really don't like themselves,.....so in order for them to make themselves feel better they need to try and bring someone who might be a better person then them down to their rotten level.
It is very difficult being around these types of people but try and reach out and find other associations. It does take awhile to break free. But, until you do, remember the problem is not yours....it is theres.

You need to tell them that you are know longer going to take this kind of abuse. Find another job. Get these people out of your life right now. Do not I repeat do not let these people continue to treat you like this. The only reason that they keep doing this to you is because YOU LET THEM.

yes it most definitely abuse its called verbal abuse. the bf is physically abusive and that is not good. Tell them to stop treating you that way. If your under age report to a school counselor. If your of age report the bf to the police and don't let him do it again. Get out of those relationships and get your self help. Tell both all of them you have had enough and wish not to be abused again. But go get counseling for yourself. These people only do to you what you have allowed them to do so please get help.

That is definitely verbal abuse and it is ILLEGAL! Especially at work. This happened to me and I took it to higher level supervision. The individual received a fairly harsh punishment. Just remember that if they think that they have a reason to make fun of you, they are just making up for probably the same things that happened to them in some time in their life. Don't even stress it and report it to the supervisor of the person making fun of you.

Yes, it is mental and emotional abuse. But think of it this way,
their vocabulary is small and uncreative. Your mother probably heard other people call her that and is just trying to repeat what she hears others say. Your ex was probably called stupid growing up and the only way to make himself feel beteer is by trying to bring people to his own level.

I think that they just say those things to let out anger. If they say it all the time even when their not mad,I think you should try to talk to them 1on1 when you see them in a happy mode.If that doesn't work then just try to ignore them.Trust me on this I live in a house full of kids.
