I couldn't put it down! Loved it! It's what you call a "page-turner". The story kept me in suspense right til the end. The movie tried to do it justice, and actually turned out okay.

Brown could have chosen a better name for the curator - I thought choosing Saunier was lazy. The movie was good, but it jumped around a lot. If I had not read the book, I would have gotten lost.
Other than that the story was great. I have no problem with the fact that Jesus MIGHT have been married. It was certainly a possibility, given the culture of the times. There is currently no proof that he was, but given that Mary Magdalene was important in his life, it is quite possible.
Now as to the children - well there has not been any mention of Jesus & Mary having children in the literature - not in the bible, not even in the Gnostic writings. I am inclined to think that Sarah sailing to France was just a story. But if people want to believe it thats fine with me.

I thought it was very entertaining. It was a "page turner" in that once I picked it up I read straight through it in a weekend. Most of the novels around don't hold my attention that well.
I thought it had an interesting premise that had not been covered in a popular novel although I have no background to know how true it was.

LOVED IT!!! Dan Brown is by far one of my favorite authors. It was brain candy, I didn't want to put it down, I couldn't. That and Angels and Demons. I think that one is better that DaVinci Code personally, but DVC was made into a movie.

i liked it, Dan Brown has a knack for writing mysteries.
But one thing that kept my eyes wandering was that i thought he used the word "flabbergasted" too many times.
LOL
