Does it work if you keep them under light overnight? I wanted to pass them out tomorrow, but they're all closed up because the weather's cold and dark. Does anyone know how I can make them bloom overnight?

I agree with the either answer, get the ripest fruit you can find, bananas are good and put them close to the buds or in a box where it will trap the gas in.

The light will work more for triggering flowering, not opening flowers.
Though the light may work by keeping the air temperature warm and stimulating cell activity.

Some times, this works, sometimes it does not work.
Put a bunch of apples around the plants.
The apples give off Etheline, a gas that stresses plants.
Some times if plants feel stressed it will encourage them to bloom to produce seeds to save the species. Survival of the fittest sort of thing!
In reality not every plant responds to this treatment, but try googling Etheline and flowering plants, or something like that to see if you get results, or if it will be a waste of time for your type of plants.

Light may work but there is a chemical you can buy at nurseries to help them along
