I have heard that the cervical mucous begins to change the moment the egg is released to prevent sperm from getting in so it is recommended that intercourse take place prior to ovulation. By using the OPK's you can determine when you are about to ovulate and have intercourse during the indicated LH surge that happens 24 hours or so before actual ovulation.

After you ovulate that egg lives in you for 48 hours. Then, no. Not until the next time you ovulate.

I don't know. But sperm can live more than 24 hours so if your partner is "going" inside you then possibly.
