Since I am no longer a child I would have to say my childhood hero was Elvis Presly. But he wasnt a superhero so I guess that wont count so I would have to say Cat woman or Sheera even batman i guess.

I think a mix of all of the main famous ones: spiderman, batman etc. Was never a superhero freak though. Didnt ever dream to be them when Im big.

My hero would have to be my mom! She is not a superhero,but she's pretty special. Besides my mom.....I guess i would say spider man. I like how he swings through the air and stuff!

Nick Fury, formerly of the "Howling Commandos" during WW II, who went on to be "Nick Fury - Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D."
The reason: He was a comic hero with no super powers and always got the job done.

My very first childhood hero was Rainbow Brite...she got to wear an awesome rainbow space suit, and had her own horse!!!

Batman and Grimjack were the ones I wanted protecting ME in some dark alley. (I was sort of envious of Bob the Lizard, whom Grimjack took in-- read the story 'Family and Friends'.)
