A baby doesn't need any extra fluids until they are at least 6 months of age. If you give them fluids before this stage, they consume less breastmilk/formula and this means they do not get the nutrition they really need. See http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/giving-baby-juice.html
Once you do give your baby extra fluids, water is much better. Juice can cause obesity and dental problems - it's best to stick to whole fruit, which also contains dietary fibre.

I think it should be ok to give your baby juice now if thats what you wanna do.My daughter is almost 11 months old and I do not give her any juice at all. No matter how much water I mix with her juice she gets really really bad diareha and then gets real bad diaper rash and when I told her docter that she said there was no problem with not giving her juice. If you decide to give your baby juice just make sure you mix it with water.

My pediatrician said babies do not need nothing but formula or breast milk until 1 year.
I gave my son small amounts of unsweetened fruit drinks starting about 10 months which the doctor said was ok just limit the intake given.
He did say can give the baby small amount of water after 4 months. Remember not too much.
