you say you have been friends a long time now. that should answer your question. if he didn't like you . he wouldn't be your friend..for a long time..

well it al depends really. you see friendship can stay forever, people remain friends all their life. now the question of if he likes u as in he loves you kinda thing, is hard to say, but because you and him are the subjects, it is easier for you to find that out.
i would say, give him a few hints and see how he responds where by you would be able to say if he really likes you or not. to go any further then friendship, is your deicison but as far as i can see, it is possible when you have a friend for a long time, who knows what you like, dislike, what you do and dont, and the rest.
coz i find, when you know someone really well, like really good friends, most of the time, it ends up they liking each other.

I hope so! You should ask him.......... it's tricky when you like your guy friends, cause if it don't work out in a relationship than you may have problems with your close friendship. However ask him straight up and tell him that you don't want to lose his friendship for any reason.......... but that if he likes you than you should try dating, and take it slow.

how can we figure out weather or not he does lol..show us some evidence lol...and if you think he does well then it look slike you kinda answered your own question...we can't really answer your question if all you say is you two were friends for a long while....gotta give more info lol..but anyways...just continue talking to him..maybe ask your friends to ask abit about you or girls that hes interested in....see weather your wasting your time or not

I can relate. What I did was talk to her about it. Funny story reveals that she liked me. What my point is that to find out if he likes you, ask him 1 or 2 questions about boyfriend and grilfriend
relationships.
