You are correct it is all over the Media that our govt. has lost some weapons meant to supply the Iraqi army. However, they would be better off throwing rocks at each other anyway, so when they figure out who sold them on the Black market they should allow the Iraqi army the privilege of stoning them to death.

Weapons of mass destruction was never why the government went into iraq. the govnt went into iraq for oil.The government doesnt care about us as people. so this way the president could go on nice vacations with his family and then the president could say we dont have that much oil and we need to raise gas prices. There is a site on the computer that shows how the government was most likely behind 9/11.if you go to google and type Loose Change click on the 2nd link that pops up and watch the video. The government is so corrupt. the president doesnt want to protect his people he just wants to watch us americans die and then when the whole country is living in poverty i wonder if we will do something then. probably not because the government officials will be tanning on the beach while us americans cant affor to put food on the table.

Our military gave all of this material to various Iraqi military and police units; where the problem comes in, is the lack of valid property records by serial number; now that an audit has been called for, it is impossible to show where all the weapons are at present... this was not a huge cache in one place, at one time; this involved small issues over a period of time at various locations; not gross negligence nor theft, but was done by combat people who wanted the weapons used quickly by the Iraqis; combat soldiers don't care about records, so someone in a boring job failed to keep detailed records... of course, when he or she is found, his/her head will roll... my expertise? I was a career logistics officer in the military.

I read about that. My daughter once said, "Some of the Iraqis are nice, but you can't really trust any of them." Haven't heard anymore about that yet.
