The biggest things are that most Democrats believe stem cell
research, abortion & gay marriage are personal moral issues
& do not belong in politics.

The question assumes that all Democrats share the same views on all of the issues and similarly that all Republicans share the same views. This is not the case. Republicans used to be considered finally conservative and supported balanced budgets and limited federal spending. This certainly wasn't true with Republicans the past 6 years. They have broken the bank and the Iraq war is the only thing that limited their desire to distribute pork. Generally Republicans wanted less government interference in our lives, but that is not true now. They want the government to become involved in marriage, birth, stem cells, and they even stepped in to control the death of Teri Schivo. Basically, I guess what I am is saying is that I can't answer the question as your stated it.

Little issues like Habeous Corpus ,Bill of Rights,torture,Illegal Invasions,Tax cuts for the wealthy,A sane energy policy that doesn't cater to big oil,The maintainence of a habitable planet,seperation of church and state,universal health care.....

dems are for the middle class and the poor. a healthy environment and justice

none really......everyone just enjoys being back in 4th grade so they can call each other names, throw mud at each other and both cry to their mommies.
parties is the problem.....and until they are removed....our government and society are gonna fail more and more.
