Tough one but as Madden says... defense wins games... the colts don't have the defense to stop the bears big bad offense. the show is gonna really start when the colts are on offense and the bears are trying to shut them down. If the colts get a fast scoring pace goingg early in the game, then they could pull off the win... if not... then the Bears will school them! I'm goin for the Bears even though I'm a huge Manning fan.

These two teams should not be compared to each other at this point in the year. I say that because Da Bears have a monster Defense and a offense that is in the top 3 in the league, while the Colts have a monster offense and a defense ranked in the middle of the league. I'll give the Colts their due, they are very impressive and have won some very good games (example-Denver) but without a running games Da Bears would be able to zero in on Manning and make him wish he was back in the good ole SEC playing Vanderbelt again. Just ask M. Hasselbeck about that Bears defense. Although I don't see either team going 16-0 only because, like last year, if they get to the last few weeks and can rest players that will hurt their chance at reaching that mark. But the Bears do have the better shot at that just because of who their back-ups are.

I'm a Bears fan so I pick the Bears. It is very close though.

Colts finally beat an elite team in the Broncos. However, it wasn't a very convincing win and the Colts defense is not up to a playoff level.

Bears, with few exceptions, have been crushing teams. If the Bears can get ANY offense going, they pretty much have the game in the bag.

Still, I don't see the Bears being undefeated. Their season finally kicks into high gear starting with the Giants. They will probably clinch a number one NFC seed with home advantage, so they won't risk injury just to have a perfect season. The playoffs are more important than trying to go 16-0 when 14-2, 13-3 is just as good.

Colts

The bears have beaten up on one team in the 49ers, barely won against the Cards, beat on buffalo, Detorit, and GreenBay. Look at some records here people, the Bears will collapse the next few weeks when they start playing some better teams, and will end the season 11-5 maybe 12-4.

I say the Colts are number 1 right now, but I don't think either will go undefeated. The Bears will definitely lose before the Colts.

I think the Colts are better than the Bears, as the Bears O is weak. But the team that will vault ahead of both of them will be New England after they dispatch Indy at home this week.

Bears are clearly the top team right now, they have more balance on offense and defense. Indy's run defense is terrible right now. I don't see either team being undefeated the whole season. They both have 4-5 tough games left. Colts = @ New England, @ Dallas, vs. Philly, @ Jacksonville, vs Cinci. Bears = @ Giants, @ Patriots, vs Minnesota, @ St. Louis.

Sorry, No Team with remain undefeated this season, one of the main reason will be they get complacent. Cocky if you will. The Colts are only number one to their Fans as most of us feel about our teams. The Bears will fall hard real soon. Sit back and let the games BEGIN

Right now, I think Chicago is better, but Indianapolis is getting more and better experience in tight games. The Bears were pretty lucky *and* good to come back against a crappy and irrelevant Arizona team, but they've had too many blowouts this season and haven't been tested consistently.
