Hi um yeah I was wondering about your experiences with synchronized mensturation, like I know that it occurs and it can be pretty common but how do you deal with it, it has been happening to me lately and I was wondering if you guys have any suggestions on how to deal with this, even stories would be good too, anything would help, thank you.

synchronized mensturation means that you have your period at the same time as other women who you are close with or work closely with around you

If your meaning that you start at the same time as a close friend or your sisters ect. ... let me just say this, I have 5 brothers and 3 sisters. My two cousins (female) and my 3 sisters plus myself and my mom all would start in the same week... My brothers, dad and my cousin would go camping for a week every month! It was often a family joke to give each other bottles of midol and lortabs (a sleeping crabby woman is way better than an awake crabby woman!)

There really isnt any way to deal with it, but taking the time to provide yourself personal relief like those self heating back pads they sell now.. you can wear them anywhere and taking ibuprofen every two hours for the first day as well as drinking a lot of water.

I worked a lot of shifts with another nurse for years and we ended up having our menses at approx the same time. It used to be a bit of a joke between us . We could literally predict each others starting day by our behaviors, moods etc. Weird but true.

There is no scientific explination for this phenom, but some scientists think that estrogen chemicals somehow.. talk to each other and this causes women to menstruate at the same time. there is nothing wrong with this, and there is no medical problem with you.
