In 1492 Christopher Columbus is standing on the shores of San Salvador. What events led him to be here?
They where looking for a fastest way to get with the India's, for having a fastest way of having supplies (money)
Why is somebody from the Americas not standing on the shores of Spain?
The thing here was because the American Indians didn't have the technology, to build a big ship for the travel, and I think the American Indians didn't have the meaning of gold of currencies they use to exchange things for a living

I think your teacher might be talking about what Columbus had to do to get the ships and crew to travel. He originally asked some other country, but they refused. Then Columbus went to Spain and was granted three ships since the war had just ended.

No one from the Americas were standing on the shores of Spain because they weren't as advanced in technology. That leads to talking about how Europe became so advanced through trade and the Crusades.

You have to talk about Spain's quest to get to India & Columbus's (correct) belief that the world was round.

You should discuss that most people considered the world to be flat, and that many, even Columbus's crew thought they would fall off the edge of the world.

You also must tackle the self-sufficiancy of the native americans, as to why sombody from the americas was not standing on the coast of Spain.

Columbus was the one who brought news of the new world back to Europe. Very true that there were numerous civilizations here prior to the Spanish, French, British, Russians, and Portuguese established colonies here, however none of these civilizations took the their news of existence of the American continents. Columbus was the first person who went back to Europe and said "Hey there are these huge land masses over to the west that you all maybe interested in." Even the vikings keep the news of the new world to themselves. Had he not done this someone eventually would have.

Christopher Columbus was trying to get a fast way to India (which is why he called the people he saw the Indians). He thought if he took an ulternate route he would get their faster. Try to Google Christopher Columbus.

He ended up in San Salvador because he didn't know where he was going. He went for spices and thought that if he sailed west he would get to them quicker.
Why no one from the Americas in Spain? The Native americans (indians) were comfortable with who they were and what they had and did not feel the need to conquer other people.

This may help!

Read " Guns, Germs and Steel ", by Jared Diamond. It sure sounds as if your teacher has, by the connotation of that question.
