be a model, and a fashion designer for sure. but i don't know how to get started. i even plan on going to a fashion college.any ideas!

you are on the right path with college. once you do that they will open many doors for you and definitely alot of leads and ways not to be taken advantage of.

This may be strange, but get into theatre and do costume design. This is a great way to get into studying the history of fashion and how trends get started, as well as giving you a practical look at how things go from idea to design to realization.

Also, you can get some good connections in theatre. Your designs and creations could get good word of mouth and you may be hired to do more designs at other locations. If not, any experience in fields related to yours will look fantastic on an application to design school. Good luck!

i wanna be a fashion designer and in England to get into fashion college you have to:
-do art for GCSE
-then A-level
-do a foundation course at college in art when your 18

In the meantime:
-read loads of magasines and rip out all the outfits you love
-start a portfolio based on the current seasons style to develope your drawing skills
-collect your familys old clothes to cut up and practise sewing
-try to get some work experiance in the industry, im 15 and i did a week at a bridal shop it was amazing

TO BE A MODEL YOU NEED TO BE AT LEAST 5'9 AND THAT IS THE SHORTEST YOU CAN BE... ANYONE CAN BE A DESIGNER IF YOU GO TO SCHOOL..BUT UNLESS A HUGE FASHION HOUSE PICKS YOU UP TO START AS A GOPHER,,,YOU WONT MAKE IT
THERE ISN'T MUCH MONEY IN THAT CAREER UNLESS YOU ARE AT THE TOP OF YOUR GAME WITH LOTS OF CONNECTIONS

....create a portfolio of pictures. find a local agent. intern or work at a local magazine/newspaper hopefully working in their Lifestyle or Entertainment section.
