William Eugene Beckett Jr. (b. February 11, 1985 in Libertyville, Illinois) is the lead singer of the band The Academy Is..., who are currently signed by Vinnie Fiorello's (Less than Jake) label, Fueled by Ramen. With the help of Dustin Tran, his bandmate, William wrote the songs and lyrics recorded on The Academy Is...'s debut album Almost Here. William plays the tambourine and guitar besides singing and drumming. Before The Academy Is..., William had a solo-project called Remember Maine. Their debut, The Last Place You Look, was released by LLR Recordings in 2002. William currently resides in Hoffman Estates, Illinois.

Fut, though I agree with the crux of your argument, we have to be careful not to be too anthropomorphous in our assumptipns about our fellow mamals, lest we lead ourselves down the primrose path of assumption. We share 98% of DNA with Chimapanzees, and 96% with frogs....There is no doubt that we evolved from the same basic source.. A perfect god would not need to use the same material over and over again. Such a God could have made silicon based octopoids with triple helix dna just as easily instead of similar mammals over and over again.... If there is a God (and surely there isn't) Bible-God certainly isn't it.
