If total equality were possible we would have had it a long time ago. The better solution to social tranquility would be to assure everyone of a lifes work that they love doing. Equality is an unobtainable unrealistic dream. If everyone was equal the normal tasks of living would have to be carried out by robots and Mankind could persue activities that bring happiness.

The term "Social Justice" is the most vague term in the history of the world. Everyone has a different definition.
That is why it will never solve any problems and achieve equality (which also has different definitions)

Social justice does not mean equality.
It means that we do our best to end the misery brought about by human behavior--usually other people's ignorance or government policies.
It asks that we pursue goals to stop suffering.
Some people will be ugly or stupid, and there's no changing that, nor should we try to help. They are on their own there.
But helping out all the Iraqi vets who are now homeless--yes the current war, not 1991, would be a form of social justice. Ending violence against women or gays or immigrants would be social justice.
Stopping a particular man from hating his ex-wife is not a goal of social justice. It's about ending social violence and misery, not personal suffering or misery.

It never has and it never will.
But, that doesn't mean that we don't need to keep working on it.
It is part of the human experience.
