The name of the demon was Pazuzu, but it had the personality of several different entities, including Dennings (the director that Regan killed) , the priest's mother (father Karas) and the one who spoke giberish, who was virtually "no one" (he would repeat "enoonmai" which is "i am no one" backwards. but yeah there was actually only one demon, just more personalities

Actually I think its more than one demon they are called Pazuzzu but often refer to themsleves as Legion.
Read the Book it is way more scary than the movie.
