Okay, my 2 friends want me to dress up like a soccer player for halloween at school. They are gonna have a soccer jersey, and sweat pants that are rolled up and long soccer socks with shin pads underneath them, and have soccer cleats on. They want me to dress up like they are, and they gave me a blue soccer jersey to wear, and they told me to wear these hot pink sweat pants with a white stripe down the side. Does hot pink and dark blue match?? And i will have white long socks (when they will have black or a color) and i wont have cleats so i will wear my white BabyPhat shoes.
Will that be stupid? Or should i do it tomorrow. They said they really really hope i do, and they said they better see me at school with it on.
Does that sound like it will look dumb to you? Please give me your honest opinion.

Hey girl, I wouldn't say that's dumb at all. It's original and fun, not to mention comfy and cool at the same time. I think it's a great idea. Hot pink and dark blue don't match though! sorry!

I think it sounds seriously stupid. First of all hot pink and dark blue dont match. and second why would u be a soccor player for halloween? It would just look like u found old clothes and put them on. Don't be that. Be your own person. Who cares if they get mad at you. Be a leader not a follower. Be your own person. I think if you want to dressup it might work. Do you have dark sweats though (blue or black, maybe)? If not, can you put hot pink ribbons in your hair or something that will tie in the hot pink. Without the cleats though, I'm not sure. Could you write "Go team!!" in eyeliner on your cheek, maybe that way you could be a soccer fan. Good luck, have fun!

Personally, being a soccer player...
That doesn't sound very creative. And most of the time when i play soccer i avoid wearing any pink at all. Hmm... if that's all you and your friends can think of, go for it. But Halloween only comes around once a year so if you think of a really awesome idea...do something yourself and love it.

Well I think thats a really creative idea for Halloween!! But, the qusetion is, are they going to look silly,too? If not, they're playing a bogus trick on you. And hot pink and dark blue doesnt exactly match in my opinion. If youre worrying about how silly you're look then you shouldnt, but if you're like really into the silly halloween spirit, go for it! I really think youre choosing the right friends to be around because a friend wouldnt want to see you laughed at! Just make sure if you're looking bogus, they're looking bogus!

No, I don't think it sounds stupid. This is a Halloween costume not the prom so it doesn't have to match. In fact it would be even better this way because it would look even more like a costume. Nobody will notice anything, they will just think that it's supposed to look that way.

yeah, pretty much you already answered yourself---it will look dumb because you dont have cleats, you'll just look like you put a soccer jersey on..
Unless you put blood all over it and tire marks--then you can go as the soccer player who chased after the ball when it went out on the busy street.

Take the soccer costume with you , you can change in the bathroom, just in case they really are dressed up, IF not nobody fooled you.

If you know for sure that most of the kids at school will be in costume, there's nothing wrong with that idea for costumes. If you are afraid you will be the only ones... or if you are afraid they are fooling around with you and you might be the ONLY one who ACTUALLY does it, I would suggest bringing your costume to school with you, and changing into it once you get there. Then you can always chicken out.
