Do what I am doing right now. Make a VOICE controlled computer based system that can cater to my needs. We handicapped will try anything that works. ( I am a stroke victim, and I used to do Robotics and Supercomputers before this affliction ).

Dragon Naturally Speaking PRO software makes a PC able to act as a real life HAL9000.

Read " Waldo " by Robert Anson Heinlein for an example.
