I'll toss out a few. The obvious is always you can not yell fire in a crowded theater
Another...can not give a false identity, indeed any false information to a police officer in pursuit of an investigation.
3rd...in the military, under the UCMJ, rights to defendants are limited...there is no true 5th Amendment right in a military proceeding. Needs of the service supersede.
Finally the is the entire area of National Security that I don't care to go into.

Exceptions to the first amendment:
Advocacy of violence; Child porn; Copyrighted expression; False statements of fact; Fraud; Interference with another fundamental right; Obscenity; Trade secrets; True threats; Treason; Defamation
I found the above on the first amendment website.
I found the following on wikipedia:
Sediton; War protests; Anonymous speech; Flag burning; Obscenity; Libel, slander, and private action; Political speech; Involuntary commitment

I don't know for sure what your question is. Is it:
We have freedom of speech but there are always limitations, name 5 categories of speech that may be limited even though we have the First Amendment?
How about:
Defamation -- LIbel & slander (False statements about people written or spoken that cause harm to reputation)
Incitement -- (encouraging immediate violent overthrow of government)
"Fighting words" (Same, intending immediate violence with particular phrases)
Invasion of Privacy -- (Can't make secret recordings / invade someone's home to get naked pictures...)
Copyright -- (can't reproduce someone's original expression)
Hate Speech (some restrictions?)
Hate speech is the weakest one. I'm sure there's one other category I'm forgetting.

Limitation: It is not defamatory.
It does not incite violence.
It does not incite destruction of public or personal property.
It does not infringe unduly on the rights of others to pursue their own beliefs.
It does not cause financial downfall (read lawsuit) due
to rumor-mongering. (Iffy)

Expectations? Do you mean exceptions? Like yelling "Fire" in a crowded theater?
I think the ACLU would still take that case.
