I'm pro-choice. I don't think it's our business as to weather or not you tell somebody to give birth or not. There are so many reasons as to why not- they're not ready for a baby(financially, physcologically), they were raped and have no choice... I myself don't think I'd ever get one, but then again, I'm a precautious person. I just don't think that the government has the right to invade privacy and tell somebody what to do with their body/life. It's not up to them, only that person. At the same time, there should definitely be rules to this. Such as no minors are able to do this or atleast not w/out parental consent. Not having this procedure done more than once or twice. Really tho, how many starving kids and homeless kids are out there b/c of stupid people having kids when they can't. This could help solve that problem. I think getting an abortion should be availabel to everyone too, not just the wealthy or whatever. This is my stance and will not change...I've had this discussion several times and heard nearly every point of view.-"oh so you're willing to kill your child" Um hello, it's not a child yet, it's an egg and still able to be a miscarraige! It's not murder, please- instead of worrying about what others are doing with their body/life, think about real murders and killers out there that get away with far worse! I do however beleive that it should not be sought out as a "way out" or as another type of birth control, b/c it's not. I do think it is a very serious choice and that person should think more than twice about their decision, and ultimately it's up to them! Giving a baby up for adoption instead is just as hard, I could never just hand over all that work of being pregnant and giving birth out of my body, just to give to somebody else and hope he/she takes care of my child! Pro-choice*

absolutely against. This is the amazing thing the Bible doesn't even specifically talk about it b/c Israelite woman would'nt even think of such a thing. That's how bad it is. What I don't understand is that when a mother has a miscarriage people feel so sorry for her loss, b/c the baby is a person. But, when a woman has an abortion they are all like that fetus isn't a person yet. What is the difference?! did you know a baby gets a heartbeat at about 3 weeks old and can feel pain at week 12, you might not even know that you are pregnant at week 12. So, the baby can feel it, and you don't think that it is seperate from the mother. And partial birth abortion is just about the cruelest thing in the world. Even though the same thing happens in regular abortions, how could someone do that!!!

I am tottaly against as well. But the only time I am for it is when anyone should have an abortion is either they been rape, incest, or for major health issue. Sorry that is how I feel. I dont believe in killin a living soul when there are plenty of ppl out there who is willing to adopt.

Against it,however i can handle a women getting a abortion but don't expect t he tax payers to pay for it.Let the women bear all the burden,It is not the tax-payers mistake. Although the man involved should bear some of the burden also. The women should consider the child first. This should not be a easy decision.

Hahahahahahahah. Until someone changes the law, then it is a womans choice. But more to the point of some of you. You need to rethink what you are truley saying. You are negotiating "murder" in your minds. You say "Oh, i am Soooooooo against it".....well unless someone was raped or the child was deformed, or ill, then it's okay. ( ie: exception of mother possibly dying, there is a difference between medical neccessity and "Choosing")
Excuse me, so i get this clear. You say killing is wrong, unless YOU ARE RETARDED???? or conceived through rape??? How is that the unborn childs fault???? one word, HYPOCRITICAL. There is no " I am against abortion, with a few exceptions" That selective "murdering" in your terms, correct???? Or does it not "count" if it was rape?? It's not really a child then??? Same as the yahoo's out there deciding when it's too late. How in the **** is that possible??? Who decides when it's too late to get an abortion??? I know when I think it's too far along, but that doesn't mean i'm right. You are either for it or against it.
Otherwise, you are all fooling yourselves!!!

I, personally, would never do it. I cannot tell other people what do with their bodies however. So I am against it but am for other people doing it because I am not judgemental like some other people.
Let me also say that I am not against people who are against it. I think that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I respect any choice that a person makes with their body, abortion or otherwise. Your body is your temple and you will do what you think is right to protect your temple, physically or mentally. So, if you are going to do it, more power to you. I would never do it in a million years though.

Against. I'm very pro-life. I've also work with woman & I have yet to encounter an older woman who has had an abortion who hasn't be seriously effected by that decision. Something that people don't talk about enough. But the reality is, (I don't care what you say about it not being a life!) We (women) were created & made to be caregivers. There is nothing that goes more against our natural instincts then to kill a life that we are suppose to protect. The physiological effects of this can be very extensive. Research it. The thing that really gets me is the fact that when you go into a clinic to talk about having this done nobody ever talks about that. They don't talk about the nightmares & feeling of loss...I wonder why? Scary huh? There are thousands of couples out there desperate for a child. If you don’t want the baby why not give the child to a couple that can’t have one on their own?

Oooooo hot topic! You are brave!!!! I am pro-choice, against partial birth abortion for sure, but do not believe that abortion should be used as birth control!!! If I or my daughter were raped, raped incestually, or if I found out my unborn child was deformed I would certainly consider abortion and would want to have that option, I would want it to be a safe alternative for any of the above reasons. If we outlaw it completely then we will have a much higher death rate of women trying to do it unsanitarily and I feel more children would be abandoned as a result! "For" but only for the right reasons!!!

It is a women's choice.
I hate these question because what ever the person's answer is, every person that is the opposite will give you a thumbs down.
For all of you that are for it, you say that the girl should give it up for adoption? Why aren't all those kids that are in adoption agencies adopted yet? You say that your sister and brother can't have kids? Then why does my neighbor have 8 kids in foster care "waiting" to be adopted? Where are your brother and sister there? We don't need any more kids in adoption agencies. It is the MOTHER'S choice. Not your. If you are so for it, talk to my neighbor and adopt one of them.

I'm usually against it for people who use abortions as a way out and a form of birth control. However, if a person is raped, sick, then they should be available for that person.
