Did you try the formula D=RT?
D is distance
R is rate
T is time
Just plug the numbers in.
1. 170=r(80)
r=2.125 miles per minute
2. 27=r(35)
r= 27/35 miles per minute (or round to decimal)
3. 114=r(48.4)
r= approx. 2.355 miles per minute (rounded three decimal places)
Then convert miles per minute to miles per hour by multiplying by sixty. You can handle it from there...

1. 170 miles per 80 minutes, divide 80 by 60 to get hours = 80/60 = 4/3.
= 170 miles per 4/3 hours, divide 170 by 4/3.
= 127.5 miles per hour.
2. 27 miles in 35 minutes, divide 35 by 60 to get hours = 35/60.
= 27 miles per 7/12 hours, divide 27 by 7/12 = 27 * 12 / 7
= 46.29 miles per hour.
3. 114 miles in 48.4 minutes, divide 114 by 48.4 to get miles per minute.
= 2.355 miles per minute, multiply by 60 to get miles per hour.
= 141.32 miles per hour.

just plug them all into this equation: distance = rate times time
and then solve.
i'll help you with the first one!
80 minutes is 1.33333 hours
1. 170= 1.33333r
r=170/1.3333
r= 127.5 miles per hour

Divide the minutes by 60 to get the number of hours. Then divide the number of miles to the hours that correspond to the miles. then you've got the miles per hour.
Answers:
1.3333 Miles per hour

I get:
1. 127.5 mph
2. 46.2857 mph
3. 141.3223 mph
using ratios to solve: 170/80 is as X/60 solve for X
80X = 10200
X= 127.5
