I just miscarried today. I had a D&C done actually. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's really hard but you aren't alone. She should see a doctor (ob/gyn) in 4 weeks to make sure she is ok. Then follow the doctors advice on conceiving again. They told me that they usually just recommend that a woman waits until she has one normal period before trying.

Maybe you should first think about why she miscarried?
We miscarried and realised it was for the best! (Just a thought!)
I would give her time to grieve, go see a counsellour together.
I would give her at least a month, but more like 3! Just let her body get back to normal and make sure she is emotionally ready to try again, she may be scared about the chances of having another miscarriage!
Good Luck!

I am sorry to hear that, it's a sad time, especially when you get used to the idea and become enthralled with it. You should probably wait a little while, maybe a couple months or ask a doctor what he thinks. I believe there is healing on the inside that needs to be done. Good luck and I hope you are successful!

First of all I'm sorry for your loss, I know what it feels like my husband and I went through a MC in April of this year. The Doctor told us that we should wait till 2 of my cycles were back to normal then we can try again. Hope that helps. In other words wait till she gets 2 normal periods and then try again. Good Luck to you and your wife.

You should usually wait about 3 months. However, the best thing to do is wait until your wife feels mentally and physically ready again, because being pregnant is tough but very much worth it.

My Mom's second pregnancy was full term, but my brother died because the cord was wrapped around his neck. The doctor recommended Ma & Pa to get pregnant right away so that they don't begin to fear going through it again.
My 1st brother died May, my second brother was born the following June.
My heart goes out to you both.

Whenever you are ready. Doctors will tell you to wait such and such amount of time, but I personally believe that if her body couldn't handle another pregnancy, she wouldn't get pregnant. Yea, I know that sounds ignorant to some people, but it's what I believe. Good Luck and God Bless your family! P~

Do you mean physically? Probably in a month or two. Emotionally is another story. How far along was your wife?
