It's not necessarily about the "pre-pubescent" look...think about body hair in general. Society tends consider women who shave their legs and armpits to be sexier. In many cultures, body hair is not considered to be feminine, and that includes pubic hair. As a result, many men and women prefer the shaved look. Also, pubic hair is thicker and more wiry than other types of body hair. This makes it a lot less appealing to the touch for many people, and it can even cause a rug burn sensation during intercourse. It also tends to mask the view of the vulva, which is why full-on pubic hair is rarely seen in pornography. Of course, there will be some men and women who like it because it reminds them of children, but saying men enjoy the look because it reminds them of little girls is a huge generalization to make about the entire male sex.

Vast majority of men love it, not only the look but the silky smooth feeling and not having hair in the mouth. If a girl doesn't shave then she should at least keep it nicely trimmed. Actually some girls hair can be very soft and that can be a plus.

Back in the 70's a lot of white guys dated black girls that had kinky, hairy gashes. When the black girls got together they would take their clothes off and see who was getting the most action. If a black girl's hair gash was split at the bottom of her pubic hair, it was a sigh that she was getting lucky a lot. The black girl I dated always wanted me to do missionary on her because it parted the hair more than any other position. Plus I liked it when our pubic hairs intertwined. It gave you that extra sensation.

no... shaving your vagina would be extremely difficult and painful, sorry. It is the vulva, and more technically labia and mons pubis. Shaving pubis tends to cause irritation, but I feel I would find shaved labia (so I could see them clearly) most attractive, hair above that would be about the same either there or not.
