No, some people like to be alone, it doesn't mean they're sad, they just might not want to be with people at that moment.

That is a very strange question. I would assume they are a sad human being who has absolutely no friends and probably smells. Unless I am walking alone in which case I know its just because nobody wants to look bad by walking beside someone as gorgeous as me. Simple.

No. I walk alone all the time, and that doesn't mean I'm always sad.

Why? I walk alone all the time... I think it is (at times) pleasant to enjoy your own company and reflect on things that you cannot reflect on in the presence of others. However, I do see your point. I guess it depends on how this particular person is walking.

No. I walk alone a lot. It's not because I have no friends, only because I might have to think over my thoughts....or think about something....or maybe i AM sad....but that's only sometimes.

I have a family, many friends, and still I do plenty alone. I like to do things that either my family or friends can't do or don't like to do and some things (sometimes I snow ski alone) I don't want to be compromising on (I usually ski with family or friends) and want to do it my way.
I do feel a bit awkward at times, because I'm only human, and being alone is considered unusual in our society.

Only if they are walking with a dejected and downtrodden look. If you see someone skipping down the street alone and whistling, I don't think you would jump to the conclusion that they are sad.

I walk alone all the time, when I go to work, when I go to the supermarket, when I go to meet my friends...
I do all those things no matter if I'm happy or sad...I guess you do the same, isnt it..?
