They compare iraq to Vietnam, and then say repubs know nothing of history.

I think 2 million died when the US left South Vietnam, due to the fact sweatshops were turned into slaughter houses.

Yes there is a question here

Cool life, but I am not the one comparing, and I don't watch Bill

Good leap of faith, maybe next time you shouldn't leap into a **** heap

A big misconception you have. I support the Iraq War, because I truly believe it is just, that does not mean I support the repubs. how many Americans do I want to die? I say 0.

Well, Scorbore, I am no dem. What I think the dems here have failed to do, is answer your question. Surprise there.

The 2 million Vietnamese who died AFTER the war ended. After American soldiers came home to be spit on.

Yes, spit on, kiddies. I don't know if they're still teaching you that part in school today. These libs who claim they're so patriotic and can't even side with their own country.

Bring our troops home AND SPIT ON THEM.

Obviously what we're doing now is not helping the situation. It's time to at least try something else. I'd rather put in place a timetable to see if it works and end up staying past it then just "staying the course" and watch things get worse..

Question for you? How many American's do the republicans "want" to die? They are the ones holding off recent recommendations for fixing this problem until after the elections. Our troops are taking a back seat to "republican politics". That's a shame to me, but I'm sure to you think it's a necessity to help your sorry Republicans win..

If its a choice between American soldiers and Iraqis....I would rather see a lot of Iraqis die than 1 more American.

Didn't Bush say we already won the war? "mission accomplished"? What the hell are we doing in Iraq then? When was it ever our mission to make Iraq a democracy? I thought we were there to remove Hussein and the WMDs....

I think that warmongers have a taste for blood (so long as its not their blood), and are sitting back watching the casualty scores like they would Sunday's football scores. I was in Nam, jerko. Let our boys come home.

No worry. Bush and Company is going to pull out anyway. It will be in increments and we will have a small force there to guard the oil industry. Watch for the Baker Commission report due in Nov.

The Vietnam count was more like 4 million, and napalm had something to do with it.

Anyway, your question seems to come from the 'stunning-leap-of-logic' school of thinking. How's Bill O'Rielly doing, then? His ilk share your tortured line of thinking, and sadly make a living off of it.

The Iraqi people don't trust us now... in fact I've heard that 60% of them would rather see us dead than have us stay there to negotiate... We need to get out and let the UN try to patch things.. we've lost all credibility at this point, because none of our promises ever came true for them..

They don't care if it will allow them to win on the 7th, but no matter how many Iraqis die they will lose again.

See, thats the thing, the liberals don't want ANYBODY to die. Contrary to what republicans think, dems and liberals are not unpatriotic people who wish death upon our troops.

We just don't believe in the reasons behind this particular war.
