Why Christians shouldn’t vote for a democrat:
1. They are for partial birth abortion.
2. They are pro gay marriage
3. They are for higher taxes and more government
4. They are for cut and run in Iraq. They don’t support our troops
5. They are a group whose whole platform is based on hate for President Bush. Hate is never a good position for a Christian.
6. They want to fight the war on terror on American soil instead of taking it to the enemy.
7. They openly want God removed from government. Something the framers of the Constitution never had in mind. The Fathers of this country were trying to protect us from a theocracy and it worked. God is part of government whether democrats like it or not and we are nowhere near being a theocracy.
This is just a quick list.

I don't vote for democrats. I don't think that any party runs a true democracy (the closest I've seen is the system in Switzerland), so it doesn't really work. True democracy isn't the best option either. I think it was Thomas Jefferson that said "Democracy is mob law, it gives 51% of the population the ability to take away the rights of the other 49%", not word for word.

You've given half the answer. I might add that we have a president that we now know call christian "Goofy" and worse.
The main reason to vote democratic at this point is to get the republicans out where ever possible. If you vote for one of the smaller parties, you are throwing your vote away so far. I think everybody should switch their voter registration to some other party than either the dems. or repubs.

Depends on your views... If you want more a theocracy than a democracy than you sure as heck shouldn't vote democrat.. If you're religious but believe that you shouldn't push your beliefs on others, maybe vote democratic.. Morality is definately on the Democrats side in this election(to me). But everybody has a differant P.O.V..

Evidently, you weren't born yet during the Clinton years.
You must be a little innocent child. Time to go to bed.
You should have been around prior to 1994 when the Democrats controlled Congress.
It was complete Corruption & Porn.
(Thank goodness, you're not old enough to understand those words.)

Because democrats generally want to help those who are less fortunate in our society-- and that IS a very Christian thing to do.
Well, most dems want to. Quite a few in power are a bit to leftie.
Problem is, that gay rights and abortion gets in the way and goes against fundamentalist christian beliefs.

Because God is an environmentalist?
God doesn't like war?
God believes in helping the poor, sick, and elderly?
God is NOT a Republican.
