My periods are getting delayed from the time i started having sexual intercourse. Is this normal? This time its more than 5 days and still I don't see any sign of a period neither do i see any signs of pregnancy. Before sexual intercourse, my periods were very regular (28-day)

Kind of. Sexual intercourse causes a hormone surge that your body has never really experienced before. This surge can affect the regularity of your periods for the first few months of intercourse. However, it should return to normal relatively quickly. If it doesn't, talk to your gynecologist.

If you want to guarantee your regularity (and be safer during sex), I highly recommend that you go on the pill. It will return your cycles to 28 days (most likely; it will become normal but may be, say, 27 or 29 days). Also, going on the pill will alleviate cramps, may clear up your skin, and will, of course, help prevent pregnancy. I am currently on Cyclessa, and it has been shown to help with weight loss in some women as well.

If your period doesn't show up in the next couple of days, though, you may want to get a pregnancy test--just to be sure. 7 days is a bit of a stretch with this.

Good luck!

Yeah that can happen. Periods are so weird, they can be affected by SO many things. I have noticed delay before, after sex. One time it was a week and a half late. It's also been a week early after sex too. I'd say you're cool, but if you worry about it, or stress over it, your period could possibly delay further. Don't think about it until you're coming up on 2 weeks late.

Having this happen myself. Yes, this is normal. I have had this happen on more then one occation. If you have changed your physical activities at all!! then this can effect it as well. So if it goes on for longer than a week then I would be getting it checked out. But, dont worry about it until then because stress can mess it up to. your emotional levels can do a number on your period.
