Vietnam was supposedly to stop communism....Iraq is supposedly to stop terrorism. Both had our soldiers fighting an enemy that blended into the general population, and both result/ed in too many soldiers dying for no dam good reason, other than the almighty dollar. Both represent a shameful period of American history.

Korea we lost because we did not have the necessary help from the Korean peoples. Viet Nam we lost because of politics the following-we received each and every important conflict there. we've not lost Afghanistan or Iraq. we can if the Dems and Liberals have their way although. a twin of Viet Nam, we can lose this warfare if we enable politics get contained in the way of what must be achieved.

If you actually knew something about the Vietnam war, you would understand that question is ridiculous. Other than the fact guys are still using Ak's & M16's there is no comparisson. The better historical comparison is the Phillipine Insurection.

It is far worse than vietnam because it will never end no one knows who the enemy is any more. Terror is only a word but one that puts the world under threat.
