It's the human mind, that because we are on top of the world at the moment that we are superior, when in reality we are the dumbest animal on the planet.
What other animal kills each other while destroying the only planet they got?

Because they're stupid enough to believe that such a thing as superiority or inferiority has any validity whatsoever! Everything is always relative and in that property alone it becomes absolute!

Superior and inferior are just points compared to other points in a certain way. In the eyes of lions and tigers we are no more than lunch, even if it could prove a hard to get lunch in case we carry guns or big enough knives. At the most humans are one of the most influential creatures on this planet, but don't weed out all the microbes who do a perfect job without a trace of brain whatsoever.

All humans want to believe that they are superior because it is the one thing that gives us a purpose and reason for existence. It is like the old joke where the body was arguing who was the most important. The brain said, if it wasn't for him no one would know how to function and they would all become a lifeless vegetable. The heart stated that it was most important, because with out blood flowing through the body it would die, the lungs said it was with out the lungs there would be no blood for the heart to pump. Each one of the body parts spoke out to tell the others why they were more important. Finally the bowels spoke..."I am more important, without me you would all be full of poop (for the sake of readers)" All the body parts started to laugh and laugh and laugh. This angered the bowels and they shut down. The body became poisoned from the toxin's waste. The body parts started crying out, "please. please, we are sorry for laughing at you". There is a moral of the story and yes it is a punch line and I am sure you can all guess it. But my point is, we are all important. Our beautiful earth has diversity in all things - different types of trees, rocks, dogs, goats, body's of water etc... So we humans think we are superior because we need to feel important. That is why we have issues among race and sex and the destruction of our planet.

For one I don't know any animals producing computers to ask questions. I am not sure if the word superior is the way most humans feel in their feelings towards animals or plant life. Animals use their physical abilities to let other animals including humans know who is superior in a physical and often mental capacity. Animals all have a type of superiority to a certain amount of other things around them just like humans. We as humans are superior in intelligence but what we do to the animals and environment is not always the best choice but you cannot have a perfect balance in nature or science. Nothing can be equal and survive. One lives off of the other's weakness. Not just animals and plants but in the very basic forms of our molecular makeup. I am not dead set on anything myself but to believe in the myth of balance, equality, fairness in nature is going against nature itself. A chicken the same size as you were standing in front of you right now he would peck you to death for just being there. Don't scratch your head you just killed a million microbes living in your scalp. How far do you want to carry this?

Because they have forgotten that the same fundamental building blocks that create our molecules, also comprise the molecules in everything else.

They've forgotten to really breathe, breath to my mind what continues to tie us in to the rest of the universe. We continually take in the air the the rest of the world has breathed, the plants and other factors recycle the waste co2 back into breathable oxygen, and the cycle repeats infinitely.

Most of them seem also to have severe personality disorders. They are constantly letting the media, letting the world, and everyone else tell them what they need to be "good" and "successful" They have been lazy in not working these things out for themselves.

They are lost in their unknowing, their misperceptions, and as difficult as it is, we must always remember that anger will not help them. Only love will, being heard, and careful relationship will.

It seems like insecurity to me. With some people if they dont feel they are superior to another than they feel like nothing and out of control. The competive nature of man is to achieve, but it is not suppose to be that we are superior to anyone when we are making the goal like football. We are suppose to be team players and not solo's beating down the other guy.

They don't use their mind and because of that they remain ignorant. Because they are ignorant they think that what is in the picture is correct and there is nothing beyond that. They think that humans have the capability to do anything and rest of the things around them are helpless.

Good Question! I think it boils down to either vanity, religion and social programming. It can all go hand in hand. If you noticed the objective answers to your previous question you have seen the effects of it. "The Bible states"….”dogs don’t have souls”….where do you think those "intelligent" ideas came from (ah ha- vanity, religion or programming)? Speaking of intelligence, as far as I’m concerned, our fabulous thumbs have just taken us away from what really matters. About everything man has created has become more of a distraction and has cluttered our minds and souls. Humans overestimate themselves. Yeah, so although animals can’t create HTML codes to post on my space or attend American Idol auditions, they sure can run from a tsunami! How's that for a dumb animal?

The three factors above only apply to those who cannot think beyond them.
