if you have a wireless router in your house, for wireless internet, you don't need to get anything extra to use the WiFi capabilities

if you do not have a router, you can get a seperate piece to put into your computer's USB port, which will allow you to access the WiFi capabilities.

theyse can be found in normal gamestores, and cost somewhere around 30-35 dollars i think.

stock numbers are low, usually, so it might be hard to find a store that has these in stock

Nintendo DS does come with wifi. There is a limited wifi and a internet wifi. The limited version lets you play with up to 4 friends up to 30 ft. away. The internet wifi requires a wifi hotspot (wireless internet). I have a wireless router at my house and can use my ds with it. You may need to buy the Nintendo version wireless router (i think its like $80) or go to coffee shops or McDonalds with wifi. Note: Only certain games use internet wifi! It will show a blue logo on the front of the box that says Wifi Compatible.
