Here in India we swear by the warm oil massages (known as champi) followed by warm towel wraps..this is supposed to enhance circulation and aid in hair growth especially when olive oil is used ..you could try this on Chico so he wouldnt feel embarassed in front of his canine friends at the weekly dog club meeting.it might do wonders forhis self esteem.
however if all your friend is desirous of is a healthy shine then what he does is perfectly normal.. the aqamarine towel is supposed to add a watery shine..
i think this is better of the two options because
